Our Charter
When the trust was registered it set out 24 objectives. They are the outer edge of what the foundation may do. Everything on this site sits somewhere inside them. They fall into six areas.

What the charter covers
Education and learning
Libraries and reading rooms, school and college buildings, scholarships, and support for children and adults alike.

Health and nutrition
Medical help for those who cannot pay for it, nutrition for women and children, and public health work from AIDS to addiction.

Care, shelter and relief
Shelter for the old, the young and the disabled, free legal advice, and relief when floods, earthquakes or accidents arrive.

Women, girls and equality
Standing against the victimisation of women and girls, and narrowing the gap in what women and disabled people are able to do.

Work, skills and youth
Training that leads to self-employment, adult education, and turning what young people can do towards building the country.

Rural life and the environment
The overall development of poor rural communities, drinking water where there is none, tree planting and pollution control.

And one on funding
To raise funds through collection, donation or subscription and other means and to invest money or incur expenditure in such manner to promote the achievement of aims and objectives of trust.

A charter is a licence, not a record
Most of what is set out here has not been started. It describes what the trust is permitted to do, once there are people and funding to do it. Two of the objectives are running as projects today.

Education and learning
To establish library and reading rooms for needy communities.
To create Training/education center and health center.
To publish newspaper, magazine, journals and to reproduce works of arts, literature, science, crafts and other allied works/collections of works of arts for instruction and imparting useful knowledge.
To provide scholarship/Financial help to poor rural people for their overall development.
To arrange land, building and other facilities for running school/college institution/Library etc.
To provide support for child and adult education.
Health and nutrition
To create the opportunities for providing medical assistance to the people suffering from diseases, especially for helpless people.
To provide help under health & nutrition services for women and children.
To educate people against used drugs and Alcohol.
To provide health care for the needy and poor and dissemination of information in the fight against aids.
Care, shelter and relief
To work for uplifting the status of needful in the society.
To provide help/shelter/facilities for old people, children and disabled persons for their welfare.
To organize forums, seminars, camps etc for including good living habits, moral values, culture, and spirit of developing self-confidence etc and to establish centers throughout the country for the above activities.
To alleviate the suffering caused by Natural calamities such as flood, Earthquakes, motor accidents etc.
To provide free legal advice to poor people.
To undertake any other work or assignment which may be for the general welfare of the people.
Women, girls and equality
To fight against the victimization of girls/women by anybody in the society.
To provide equality Enhancement through provision of support for women and disabled persons to narrow the gap in their chances for employment and everyday life.
Work, skills and youth
To help and to generate training programmes for self-employment of women and educated unemployed people and to work for adult education.
To provide mobilizing the resources of the youth towards nation building.
Rural life and the environment
To propagate the present essential need for tree plantation/pollution control and environmental awareness.
To work for uplifting poor rural people for their overall development.
To provide portable water for the rural population and the needy and creating environmental awareness in the community.
Funding
To raise funds through collection, donation or subscription and other means and to invest money or incur expenditure in such manner to promote the achievement of aims and objectives of trust.
